Prepare the materials,tools

Methods of how to remove glued sequins from fabric

Hot melt method.

First turn the fabric inside out to show the adhesive place.It is important as this way would be much easier to get the sequins out of the fabric.

Then using iron or other equipment like hair dryer which can heat the fabric and the glue to heat the fabric.

You can remove the sequins from the fabric when you see the glue is melt.

To be cautions when you heat it,be safe.And do not heat to hot as it may damage the fabric and sequin(generally the sequin is made from plastic.)

Freezing method

This is a inverse method compare method 1.

You can place the fabric and freeze it with ice cube with plastic bag or put the fabric in some where very cold.After several minutes,you can try to remove the sequins,if it is still on it,try to freeze it again until it can be removed.

Use chemical method

Solvents like Acetone ,alcohol,lemon juice or dedicated glue removers.

Drop small amount of the acetone on a cotton balls or cloth.Then rub the back of the fabric where there is glue.Leave it several minuter to allow the acetone penetrate it and dissolve the glue.Then you can take off the sequins easy.At last,clean the glue.

But be careful with this method as some chemical materials also may damage the fabric.

No matter what method you use,there are some glue residue on the fabric.

You can use scraper or blade to clean it.
